Dr Rajiv Goel is an accomplished urologist trained from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) , New Delhi. He graduated from AIIMS and then did his specialization in General surgery and superspecialization in urology from AIIMS itself. He has worked as Assistant Professor at Institute of Kidney Disease and Research Centre, Ahmedabad. Completed his Laparoscopic Urology fellowship from University of Leipzig, Leipzig, Germany under Dr. Jens Stolzenburg and Uroooncology; Robotic fellowship from Royal Melbourne Hospital, Melbourne, Australia under Prof. Anthony Costello. Dr Goel has several awards to his credit; the notable ones being UICC ICRETT fellowship, RMH fellowship, SIU fellowship.
